The Will Florida approach
Personal decisions. Thoughtful data protection.
Preparing a will involves information about your life and the people you care about. Will Florida uses account access controls and clear privacy choices to support your AI-assisted Florida will preparation.
Explore our practices below and read the Privacy Policy for details about information, providers and your choices.
Privacy matters throughout your will preparation. Understand what you share, how it is used, and how to contact us about your information.
Account and document access
Account information, saved conversations and PDF downloads are protected by account and service-access checks. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable passwords.
Document download links expire after 7 days. An expired link does not delete the underlying document. Keep downloaded drafts somewhere you control and avoid sharing account credentials or download links.
Encryption and account separation
Encryption: Our public website uses HTTPS with a valid TLS certificate to encrypt information in transit between your browser and the website. TLS 1.2 connections are supported.
Data segregation: Access to conversations and documents is scoped to your account. PDF download links are checked against the signed-in user and their service access. Other customers are not granted access to your conversations or drafts through their accounts.
Transparent AI processing
AI-assisted preparation sends relevant conversation history, instructions, extracted information and tool results to OpenAI through its API. Information you enter may therefore be processed outside our application.
Provider retention depends on the applicable feature and account configuration. We do not promise zero retention. Our Privacy Policy explains AI processing. Review AI responses and your draft for mistakes before relying on them.
Information for your draft
We use your answers to maintain the conversation, organize your decisions and prepare the requested will draft. Registration does not require details of your estate. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Do not provide Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, card details, passwords, medical records or identity documents. Share information about other people only when authorized and needed for preparation.
Cookies and your choice
Essential cookies support account sessions and form security. Optional analytics helps us understand visits to the public website and is subject to your cookie choice.
You can decline analytics or change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Declining does not affect access to the service. We do not send chat messages or document contents to Google Analytics and do not use advertising pixels or session-replay tools.
Privacy requests and retention
Email support@onlinewillflorida.com to request access, correction, a copy of your information, account closure or deletion. Identify the account and request without attaching your will or sensitive documents. Limited identity verification may be needed.
Accounts, conversations, extracted information and drafts remain stored unless removed. Completing a download, signing out or inactivity does not automatically delete them. Legal and operational requirements, backups and provider retention may affect deletion. See our retention and deletion policy.
Common questions about your privacy
How is my personal information protected?
Our public website uses HTTPS to encrypt information between your browser and the website. Account and service-access checks restrict access to saved conversations and PDF drafts. Passwords are stored as hashes. No website or communication method can guarantee complete security.
Can other customers access my conversations or will draft?
Other customers are not granted access to your conversations or drafts through their accounts. Conversation access is scoped to the account, and PDF download links are checked against the signed-in user and service access.
Who can access my information?
Authorized personnel may access information when needed for support, maintenance, security or compliance. Service providers process information needed to deliver the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Which AI provider processes my information?
Will Florida uses OpenAI through its API. Relevant conversation history, instructions, extracted information and tool results are sent to the provider for AI-assisted preparation. Provider retention depends on the applicable feature and account configuration; we do not promise zero retention.
Can I delete my account and personal data?
You can request account closure or deletion by emailing support@onlinewillflorida.com. Identify the account and request without sending your will or sensitive documents. Limited identity verification may be needed. Legal and operational requirements, backups and provider retention may affect deletion.
How long do you keep my information?
Account records, conversations, extracted information and drafts remain stored unless removed. Completing preparation, signing out or inactivity does not automatically delete them. Read our retention and deletion policy for details.
Does an expired download link delete my will?
No. Download links expire after 7 days, but expiration does not delete the underlying document. Keep copies you need in an appropriate location; the service is not a custodian for an executed will.
Do you sell my personal information?
No. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Creating an account does not subscribe you to promotional messages.
Are my conversations protected by attorney–client privilege?
No. Will Florida is a technology service, not a law firm. Using it does not create an attorney–client relationship. Read our Disclaimer and Terms of Service.
Can I use Will Florida without accepting analytics cookies?
Yes. Declining optional analytics does not affect access to the service. You can change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Essential cookies are still needed for account sessions and form security.
How do I report a security or privacy concern?
Contact support@onlinewillflorida.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access. Describe the concern without sending passwords or private document contents.
